Moving Procedures
This page gives you information on the procedures to take when you are moving.
Before moving
Service preparation period differs depending on the environment of the place where you are moving and the time to move. It is recommended to take the necessary procedures ahead of time if you have a plan of moving.
If you are planning to subscribe to a connection service which requires an installation work at your new place, it is recommend to start taking the necessary procedures one to two months before your moving date.
Procedures
There are the following two procedures:
- Change the registered phone number and address
- Change the subscription service
Change the registered phone number and address
Asahi Net occasionally sends you important notice. Please change your registered phone number and address when you are moving.
With the change of registered information, please use the Relocation/forwarding service provided by Japan Post.

Change the subscription service
You are asked to take the course change procedure if you wish to use a different subscription service at your new place.

Fiber-optic line
Asahi Net FTTH with FLET'S
Moving procedure differs depending on where you are moving.
Moving within the same NTT East or NTT West area
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Please take the moving procedure for the fiber-optic line at NTT.
Moving from NTT East to West area or vice versa
Please take the following procedures in My Page.
- Cancel Asahi Net FTTH with FLET’S which you are currently subscribed to.
- Apply for Asahi Net FTTH with FLET’S with your new information (address, phone number, etc.)
- 1After logging into My Page, click Services in Use and show FTTH with FLET’S Check Contract by clicking on the buttton, “Check contract details.”
- 2In the page shown, click the Cancel button to take the cancellation procedure.
- 3After completing the cancellation procedure, go to the top of My Page, proceed to the page written in Step 1, and make an application.
- *Your Asahi Net ID and password are required.
Asahi Net docomo Hikari
To find out about service-related request procedures including details on installation work, please visit your local docomo shop, or see NTT docomo’s webpage, or contact docomo by phone.
FLET’S Hikari Next/Light
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Please take the moving procedure for the fiber-optic line at NTT.
Use the same ID and password you are currently using to set up the connection at your new place.

FLET’S Hikari Cross
If your customer ID is changing at your new place, you are asked to take the change procedure for your Line ID in use.
After the fiber-optic line has opened at your new place, take the following steps in My Page. IPv6 connection will be available when you are done.
- 1After logging into My Page, click Services in Use and show FLET’S Hikari Cross Check Contract by clicking on the buttton, “Check contract details.”
- 2In the page shown, click Check/Change the Line ID in Use and show the “IPv6 Connection Feature Check Contract” page.
- 3In the page shown, click the Change button under Line ID in Use.
- *Your Asahi Net ID and password are required.
Mobile
Asahi Net WiMAX 2+
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Bring with you the device you are currently using to your new place.
Check the available area before moving.

Asahi Net LTE ANSIM
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Bring with you the device you are currently using to your new place.
High Speed Mobile (FOMA & Xi)
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Bring with you the device you are currently using to your new place.
For contract with NTT docomo, please take the necessary procedure at NTT docomo.
- New applications are no longer accepted for NTT docomo’s Xi and FOMA

Xi and FOMA by NTT docomo are closed for new applications.
If you are moving, please check with NTT docomo for any necessary procedures.
Other
FLET’S ADSL
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Please take the moving procedure for the fiber-optic line at NTT.
Use the same ID and password you are currently using to set up the connection at your new place.

- Closing of FLET’S ADSL in areas where FLET’S Hikari is provided

New applications for FLET’S ADSL line offered by NTT East/West have been closed as of June 30, 2016 in areas where FLET’S Hikari is provided.
Please check with NTT East/West for the provision of FLET’S ADSL line and take any necessary procedures.Please note that the service provision of FLET’S ADSL Service will end as of January 31, 2023, in areas where FLET’S Hikari is provided.
If you are using FLET’S ADSL in the applicable area, please consider applying for our fiber-optic service, Asahi Net FTTH with FLET’S.
FLET’S ISDN
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Please take the moving procedure for the fiber-optic line at NTT.
Use the same ID and password you are currently using to set up the connection at your new place.

Dial-up
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Use the same ID and password you are currently using to set up the connection at your new place.

Optional services
You do not need to take the change procedure for your subscription service at Aashi Net.
Requests for optional services used with Asahi Net’s connection service (such as Hikari TV for Asahi Net) can be made together with the moving procedures for the respective connection service.
