Application

Mail Service is offered as a standard feature and therefore application is not required. You can start using the new ID right away after receiving it.

See the following page for more details on the ID which can be used for Mail Service.

Asahi Net ID

Details of Mail Service are as follows.

• *Asahi Net ID issued before October 2012 is in the form of Asahi Net ID＠asahi-net.or.jp. You can additionally register an address in the form of *****@asahinet.jp.

Add/Change email address

You can change the email address “*****@asahinet.jp” (****is your Asahi Net ID) provided by Asahi Net to an address with your choice of letters and numbers (it should be less than 63 characters).
Change fees are as follows.

You can change your email address in My Page.
In My Page, click Check/Change Asahi Net Email Address and enter your new address in the page shown.

Transfer of email address

The following email addresses issued by the Mail Service cannot be transferred to other IDs.

• *****@asahinet.jp
• ID＠asahi-net.or.jp

For this reason, we recommend you using the MyMail address which allows you to transfer your mailbox.

Cancellation

Mail Service is offered as a standard feature, and therefore the feature itself cannot be canceled. The function of the Mail Service will be deactivated by canceling its ID.
