Settings of Your Mailer (Email Client/Software)
Please check by the end of June, 2022:
- If SMTP is set to use only DIGEST-MD5, please change your settings to either: 1) auto-settings; or 2) use other methods (CRAM-MD5, LOGIN, PLAIN).
DIGEST-MD5 will no longer be supported after June 30, 2022.

- Please set SSL/TLS on the incoming mail server.
- Asahi Net recommends the use of SSL/TLS for outgoing mail server settings. We are planning to require the use of SSL/TLS for outgoing mail servers in the future.
Please check by the end of August, 2022:
- Set the port number of incoming mail server to: 995
Port 11 will be closed as of September 13, 2022.
