Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service

What is Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service

Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service enables you to reject incoming email that targets your default email address*.

If you are receiving a lot of spam and unwanted email at your default address, enabling this setting may improve the situation.
Once setting this up, email delivered to your default email address will be moved to your Web Mail Trash.
You will still receive incoming email at your MyMail address.

  • *Default email address refers to email address which uses your Asahi Net ID (ID@asahi-net.or.jp or ID@j.asahi-net.or.jp).

Usage precautions

  • Error mail will not be sent to the sender even after you set up the Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service.
  • If you have registered your default email address for account information or on online shopping websites, please change it to another email address before changing the settings.
  • If you are using just the default email address, set up an Asahi Net email address (******@asahinet.jp) or a MyMail Address before setting up the Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service. See the following page for more details on each email address.
