What is Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service

As part of anti-spam measures, Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service is to set your mailbox to block email sent to addresses with your Asahi Net user ID (e.g., User ID@asahi-net.or.jp and User Id@j.asahi-net.or.jp; hereinafter referred to as default addresses).

You can use this service to block spam email sent to your default addresses.
You can still receive email sent to your MyMail address. Only email sent to your default addresses is blocked.

Usage precautions

  • Email sent to your default addresses will be returned to the sender as an error email.
  • If you have registered your default addresses to a mailing list or an EC website, you will not be able to receive email from them. Before setting the Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service, please be sure to change such registered addresses to your MyMail address.
  • If you are using just the default addresses, get a MyMail Address before setting up the Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service. You can still receive email sent to your MyMail address even after using setting up the Reject Email Sent to Default Addresses Service.
