Service Overview
Pre-Allocation of Fixed IP Address is a service for Fixed IP Address Option connecting with IPv4 (PPPoE) which assigns and informs you a fixed IP address before you first connect to the internet.
It is helpful when you need a fixed IP address to set up your device before connecting to the internet.

Steps to Start Using
Apply for a connection service and pre-allocation at the same time

Asahi Net informs you of your pre-allocated fixed IP address
After your IP address is pre-allocated, Asahi Net will inform you by postal mail or FAX.
You can choose how to be informed when applying for the service. -
STEP4
Router connection setup
Have your Asahi Net connection ID (User ID) and connection password ready, and set up a connection for fixed IP address.
After setting up, you can connect to the internet with your pre-allocated IP address.

Have your Asahi Net connection ID (User ID) and connection password ready, and set up a connection for fixed IP address.
After setting up, you can connect to the internet with your pre-allocated IP address.
FAQ
Precautions
- The pre-allocated fixed IP address will be informed to you in two business days at the fastest through the way you choose to be informed. If you wish your fixed IP address to be pre-allocated together with the signup with Asahi Net or application for a connection service, your IP address will be allocated on the next business day after you apply for a connection service.
- Work fee will incur at the point where an IP address is pre-allocated even if you were not able to connect to the internet.
- Work fee will not be refunded even if a fixed IP address different from the pre-allocated IP address is assigned to you when you first connect to the internet.
- If your line type or the place where you use the internet has been changed after you apply for Pre-Allocation of Fixed IP Address, you are asked to apply for pre-allocation again.
