Contract Change-related Information
This section gives you information on plan change, function change, and size change.
Plan change (changing the data volume)
This section gives you information on plan change (changing the data volume) of your subscription service.
- Plan change request can be made only once a month.
- The new plan will be applied starting the first day of the following month.
- If you are changing from 128 K plan to other plan, or vise versa, you have to change your SIM card, and SIM card change requires a handling fee of 3,300 yen. Please note that the SIM card before the change has to be returned. Please check the email Asahi Net sends you for the address to return the SIM card.
Function change (chainging the SIM type)
This section gives you information on function change.
Function change refers to changing of SIM card function ‐ Data SIM (without SMS) or Data SIM (with SMS).
- Function change request can be made only once a month.
- Function change requires you to change your SIM card. Please note that the SIM card before the change has to be returned. Please check the email Asahi Net sends you for the address to return the SIM card.
- The function after the change is available on the new SIM card.
- Function change requires a handling fee of 3,300 yen.
Acceptance of function change
Function change cannot be accepted depending on the type of the SIM card. The combination of changeable types are as follows.

Size change
This section gives you information on size change.
Size change refers to changing of SIM card size (Standard SIM or microSIM or nanoSIM).
- Size change requires you to change your SIM card. Please note that the SIM card before the change has to be returned. Please check the email Asahi Net sends you for the address to return the SIM card.
- You can start using the new SIM card right away after you receive the card.
The previous SIM card will be deactivated at the point when a connection is established with the new SIM card or 10 days after the shipping of the new SIM card. The earlier date will be applied. - Size change requires a handling fee of 3,300 yen.
