This page gives you information on how to set up the phone function on ADSL Modem-MNV.
The information is based on Windows 2000 and Internet Explorer (for Windows).
The same settings apply to Macintosh computers and other OSs.

Phone function settings

1. STEP1

   Open a browser window

   Open a browser window.
   Enter the address “http://192.168.1.1” in the address bar and press Enter.

   

   ユーザー名 User name	user
   パスワード Password	Administrator password which you set up

   

2. STEP2

   電話基本設定 (= Basic phone settings)

   Select 電話基本設定 (= Basic phone settings) from the pull-down menu 電話設定 (= Phone settings) in the left of the page.

   

   Set up as follows and click the 設定 (= Set) button.

   SIPサーバアドレス SIP server address	VoIP server name informed by Asahi Net
   SIPサーバポート番号 SIP server port number	5060
   REGISTERサーバアドレス REGISTER server address	VoIP server name informed by Asahi Net
   REGISTERサーバポート番号 REGISTER server port number	5060
   IP電話番号 IP-Phone number	VoIP phone number informed by Asahi Net
   SIPドメイン名 SIP domain name	asahi-net.or.jp
   ユーザーID User ID	VoIP user ID informed by Asahi Net
   パスワード Password	VoIP user password informed by Asahi Net

   

3. STEP3

   電話詳細設定 (= Advanced phone settings)

   Select 電話詳細設定 (= Advanced phone settings) from the pull-down menu 電話設定 (= Phone settings) in the left of the page.

   

   Set up as follows (items not shown below should be set depending on your environment).
   If you make any changes, click 設定 (= Set).

   ナンバーディスプレイ Caller ID Display	If you are using a caller ID display-supported phone device, 使用する (= Use)
   電話回線ダイヤルモード Phone line dial mode	If you are using a phone device which determines automatically: 自動 (= Auto) Other: 手動 (= Manual)
   電話回線ダイヤル種別 Dial type of phone line (If you chose 手動 (= Manual) for Phone line dial mode)	Touch-tone line: PB Dial line: DP
   市外局番 Area code	Enter the area code of your subscribed regular phone line (landline)

   

4. STEP4

   Register the settings

   Click 登録 (= Register) shown in the left menu.

   

   Click OK when the following dialog window is shown.

   

   Click OK.
