This announcement is to inform members using Gmail on a web browser or the Gmail app with Asahi Net’s Mail Service.
The incoming settings for Gmail will be changed starting January 2026. For this reason, affected members will need to change the incoming settings to IMAP.

Important: Please beware
The following members are NOT affected

• Users who access their Asahi Net email directly through the Asahi Net Web Mail
• Users of email clients or apps other than Gmail (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.)

1. Affected members (users required to update settings)

• Users who check their Asahi Net email using Gmail on a web browser (on a computer)
• Users who check their Asahi Net email on the Gmail app for smartphones/tablets

2. To affected members

If you are using the Gmail app, please apply for the IMAP function and complete your settings.
