Renewal of Fixed IP Address Services (Update as of December 21, 2023)

Thank you for using Asahi Net.
Asahi Net’s fixed IP address services will be renewed in order to continue providing customers with high-quality and reasonably-priced internet connection services to approach the increasing internet traffic.
In addition to the currently provided fixed IP addresses in PPPoE, Asahi Net will start providing IPv4 fixed IP addresses in IPoE.
The pricing of fixed IP address services for landlines will be revised in accordance with this new provision.

- A new Fixed IP Address Option which supports IPoE will be provided.
- The pricing of Fixed IP Address Option will be revised.
Details are as follows.
Addition of Fixed IP Address Option supporting IPoE
In addition to the currently provided fixed IP addresses in PPPoE, Asahi Net will start providing IPv4 fixed IP addresses in IPoE for fiber-optic connection services to allow Asahi Net members the use of IPoE network which is getting rapidly popular.
Service details will be informed to you later in a different announcement.
We have prepared a page to introduce the Fixed IP Address Option for fiber-optic connection services.
On this page, you can see the details of the new IPoE-supported Fixed IP Address Option and the steps to start using the service.
- *Applicable connection services are the ones listed under “Fiber Optic” of “Compatible Services” on the following page.
- *You are required to use the IPv6 Connection Feature in order to use the Fixed IP Address Option in IPoE.
- *If you are currently using the Fixed IP Address Option in PPPoE and wish to change to IPoE, you are asked to make a change request. Also, a new IP address will be assigned to you when you change to IPoE. Please note that the IP address assigned in PPPoE cannot be used in IPoE.
Revision of pricing
Pricing of Fixed IP Address Option will be revised as follows.

The Free Fixed IP Bundle discount for Fixed IP Address Option will continue even after the revision of pricing.

- *If you are subscribing to two Fixed IP Address Options, you will get a free fixed IP for the monthly charge of the service which is more expensive.
