Infection rate of computer virus
The following shows the monthly number of emails scanned by Email Virus Check and detected viruses. This information is updated every three months.
- Emails scanned are the total number of emails which Asahi Net members using the Email Virus Check have received within the relevant month.
- Viruses detected are the total number of computer viruses which the Email Virus Check has detected and removed. Infection rate shows the ratio between the total number of emails scanned and the number of computer viruses detected.

Asahi Net’s Email Virus Check Service does not guarantee to completely protect your computer from getting infected with computer viruses. Computer viruses may make their way in from other routes besides email and infect your computer.
