This page gives you information on how to set up the phone function on Web Caster X400V.
The information is based on Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6 (for Windows).
The same settings apply to Macintosh computers and other OSs.

Phone function settings

1. STEP1

   Open a browser window

   Open a browser window.
   Enter the address “http://192.168.1.1” in the address bar and press Enter.

   

   Enter the information to log into the modem in the dialog window shown and click OK.

   ユーザー名 User name	admin
   パスワード Password	Password which you set up

   

2. STEP2

   サービス設定 (= Service settings)

   Select サービス設定 (= Service settings) from the menu 電話設定 (= Phone settings) in the left of the page.

   

   After the setting up as follows, click the 確認 (= Confirm) button, and then the 送信 (= Send) button.

   市外局番 Area code	Enter the area code of your subscribed regular phone line (landline)
   加入電話回線種別 Type of regular phone line (landline)	自動 (= Automatic). You can leave it as default (自動 (= Automatic)).
   ナンバーディスプレイ Caller ID Display	If you are using a caller ID display-supported phone device, あり (= Yes). If you are using a phone device not supporting caller ID display, なし (= None).
   キャッチホン Call waiting	If you are subscribed to a call waiting service, select あり (= Yes) If you are not subscribed to a call waiting service, select なし (= None)
   IP電話サービス IP-Phone service	有効 (=Valid). Make valid if you are using an IP-Phone service.
   発信時番号通知 （IP発信時の設定） Caller number notification (settings for when IP is sent)	If you wish to notify your IP-Phone number (number starting with 050) when dialing in regular manner, select 通知する (= Notify). If you wish not to notify your IP-Phone number (number starting with 050) when dialing in regular manner, select 通知しない (= Don’t notify).
   割込音 Call waiting sound	無効／有効 (= Disable/Enable) the caller waiting sound service on your preference.
   IP電話 着信拒否電話番号 IP-Phone number you wish to reject	Specify the IP-Phone caller number(s) you wish to reject calls.

   

3. STEP3

   IP電話設定情報 (= IP-Phone settings)

   In the left menu under 電話設定 (= Phone settings), click IP電話設定 (= IP-Phone settings).

   

   After the setting up as follows, click the 確認 (= Confirm) button, and then the 送信 (= Send) button.

   SIPサーバアドレス SIP server address	VoIP server name informed by Asahi Net
   SIPサーバポート番号 SIP server port number	5060
   REGISTERサーバアドレス REGISTER server address	VoIP server name informed by Asahi Net
   REGISTERサーバポート番号 REGISTER server port number	5060
   SIPドメイン名 SIP domain name	asahi-net.or.jp
   ユーザーID User ID	VoIP user ID informed by Asahi Net
   パスワード Password	VoIP user password informed by Asahi Net
   IP電話番号 IP-Phone number	VoIP phone number informed by Asahi Net
   市外局番 Area code	Enter the area code of your subscribed regular phone line (landline)
   アップデート確認用URL URL for checking update	Leave it blank

   

4. STEP4

   Register the settings

   Click 反映 (= Reflect) shown in the left menu.

   

   Web Caster X400V will reboot by clicking the OK (= Reflect) button in the dialog window.
   Setup will complete when the reboot is done.
