Compliance with Information Distribution Platform Act (Former Provider Liability Limitation Act)
Based on the Act on Measures Against Rights Infringement, etc. Arising from Distribution of Information by Specified Telecommunications (Information Distribution Platform Act [IDPA], the former Provider Liability Limitation Act), Asahi Net, Inc. handles allegations concerning infringements of rights through information distribution by specified telecommunications services by complying with the guidelines and manuals for Information Distribution Platform Act issued by Information Distribution Platform Act Guidelines Review Council (only in Japanese).

To make a request for disclosure of sender's identification information and transmission prevention measures, please use the forms listed under the respective guidelines, etc. on the Information Distribution Platform Act-related information website.

Required Documents
To make a request, please check the respective guidelines, etc. and send the required documents listed under them.
For disclosure requests of sender's information, the required documents are as follows.
- Two copies of Request for disclosure of sender's identification information
- One copy for Asahi Net
- One copy for written inquiry to the sender (if there is any information which you do not want to be disclosed to the sender, please hide such information)
- Two copies of evidence which shows the infringement of rights
- One copy for Asahi Net
- One copy for written inquiry to the sender (if there is any information which you do not want to be disclosed to the sender, please hide such information)
- Identity verification document (such as a copy of driver's license)
- Communication log which contains the name, seal, etc. of the contents provider (e.g., BBS administrator) (something which has the following information)
- Time stamp (including time zone [e.g., if the time is Japan Standard Time]), access source IP address, access source (sender) port number, protocol, etc.
- Certification material which indicates the proper owner of rights in cases where intellectual property rights such as copyright, trademark, etc. are infringed.
- ※If the required information is insufficient, the Company may not be able to carry out an investigation to identify the sender.
- ※You may be asked to submit additional information.
- ※The sender may not be identified even if the required information is submitted.
- ※Please note that any requests made do not guarantee the disclosure of the sender's information nor that the measures to prevent transmission will be taken.
