Change in Start of Charging Month When Changing Courses for FLET'S Hikari Next

This announcement is to notify Asahi Net members that the start of charging month when changing your course from FLET'S Hikari Next Family Course to Mansion Course (and vice versa) will change.

1. Affected requests

2. Date of change

November 1, 2025

3. Change details

When changing courses from FLET'S Hikari Next Family Course to Mansion Course and vice versa, the service opening date and the start of charging month will be changed as follows.

Before the change	For the course after the change, service opening date refers to the date when the IPv6 Connection Function is first provided, or the date when the first connection is made with IPv4 Connection (PPPoE). The earlier date will be applied, and monthly charge will be free for the month which includes the service opening date.
After the change	The service opening date is the first day of the month following your change request, and the monthly charge for the changed (new) course will be billed starting in the same month as the service opening date. You can still connect to the internet until the service opening date even after making your change request. The monthly charge for the course before the change will be billed on the month you made the change request.

Before the change

For the course after the change, service opening date refers to the date when the IPv6 Connection Function is first provided, or the date when the first connection is made with IPv4 Connection (PPPoE). The earlier date will be applied, and monthly charge will be free for the month which includes the service opening date.

The service opening date is the first day of the month following your change request, and the monthly charge for the changed (new) course will be billed starting in the same month as the service opening date.

*You can still connect to the internet until the service opening date even after making your change request.
*The monthly charge for the course before the change will be billed on the month you made the change request.

4. For those who made course change requests before October 31, 2025

Change requests made before this specification change will be processed as follows.
Your connection will not be affected with this change request.

For course change requests made before May 31, 2025

If the initial connection is not made by October 31, 2025, those course change requests will be canceled as of November 2025.
If you wish to change your course, please make a change request again.

For course change requests made between June 1 and October 31, 2025

Even if the initial connection is not made by November 30, 2025, those course change requests will automatically be processed on December 1, 2025. This means, the monthly charge for the changed (new) course will apply starting with your December 2025 usage bill.
If you do not wish to change your course, please contact the English Customer Support.
