Revision of Universal Service Charge
This is to notify our members on the revision of Universal Service Charge, which is billed to members using the affected services listed below.
This revision is made in accordance with the revision of per-telephone number fee defined in the Universal Service System, which is stipulated by the Telecommunications Business Act.
We would like to ask for your continued understanding and cooperation for the Universal Service System.

3. Billing
Universal Service Charge will be billed together with Asahi Net service charges. The revised Universal Service Charge will be applied starting from charges for January 2022 (billed in February) and onwards.

Universal Service System is a system set up in accordance with the Telecommunication Business Act in order to maintain, across the nation, a fair and stable use of Universal Services (services essential for the lives of the citizenry, such as subscribed telephone, public telephone and emergency calls) provided by NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE EAST CORPORATION (NTT East) and NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE WEST CORPORATION (NTT West). The system stipulates telephone companies to bear the required costs in appropriate share.
