Steps to Start Using

1. STEP1

   Application

   Please apply for Asahi Net FTTH with FLET'S Cross via NTT East/West.

2. STEP2

   Asahi Net will send you the contract details via postal mail

   After your application is accepted, Asahi Net will send you two notifications:

   • Notification Regarding Your ID/Password
     (this only applies to new Asahi Net Members)
   • Notification Regarding the Contract Details

   Please store the two documents in a safe place after you confirm the details.

3. STEP3

   Fiber-optics line construction

   The line construction will be carried out.
   You will need to be present during the construction.
   Depending on the location and the building you live in, extra time may be required until the day of construction.

4. STEP4

   Installation of 10 Gbps supporting rental router

   Please turn ON the switch of 10 Gbps supporting rental router and connect to ONU before the service start date.

5. STEP5

   Delivery of connection settings information

   On the service start date, the connection settings information will be delivered automatically.
   Once the delivery of connection settings information is completed, you can immediately start using the service.

6. STEP6

   Start using the internet.

Precautions

Service

• To use the FLET'S Hikari Cross Course, a contract with NTT East/West FLET'S Hikari Cross line is required. You are also required the rental router supporting the FLET'S Hikari Cross, which is provided by NTT East/West.
• This service does not accept applications for Asahi Net FTTH with FLET'S Cross Course via Asahi Net. Please apply through NTT East/West together with the application of fiber-optic line.
• If customer using Asahi Net FTTH with FLET'S Course in NTT East/West area change courses to FLET'S Hikari Cross via NTT East/West, the service will be automatically changed to Asahi Net FTTH with FLET'S Cross Course. No action is required to take with Asahi Net.
• FLET'S Hikari Cross requires the IPv6 Connection Feature. After receiving your application for the service, Asahi Net will process your request for the use of IPv6 Connection Feature.
• To start using IPv6 Connection Feature, we need customer's personal information (user identification) registered at NTT. We request your authorization for Asahi Net to send your personal information (user identification) to NTT to process registration for you to start using IPv6 connection.
• If you are cancelling Asahi Net FTTH with FLET'S together with the cancellation of fiber-optic line, please inform both Asahi Net and NTT.
• This service is available in IPv6 (IPoE) connection and IPv4 over IPv6 (DS-Lite). The connection settings information will be delivered by Asahi Net automatically, and therefore you are not required to configure settings. After the fiber-optic line installation is completed, connect the FLET'S Hikari Cross-supporting rental router to the fiber-optic line and turn the switch on to wait for the delivery of settings information. Steps to start using the service are also shown on Asahi Net website.
• This service may not be used with the Fixed IP Address Option and the Pre-Allocation of Fixed IP Address offered in IPv4 (PPPoE) connection.
• Also, due to its specification, FLET'S Hikari Cross line cannot be offered with IP-Phone-C option service.

Charges

• If you change your course or cancel your membership during the period of receiving any campaigns or discounts, a full monthly charge and any other charges incurred from the use of any optional services will be billed. In addition, any applicable campaigns and discounts will be closed.
• If FLET'S Hikari line is cancelled in association with the change of name of the FLET'S Hikari line owner or a transfer of FLET'S Hikari line ownership, any applicable Asahi Net campaigns and discounts will be closed.
• If you are already using Asahi Net and change to this course, the monthly charge for the month in which the course is changed will be for the course in use before the course is changed.
• The monthly ISP charge will be free for the service opening month.

Cancellation

• If you are cancelling Asahi Net FTTH with FLET'S together with the cancellation of fiber-optic line, please inform both Asahi Net and NTT.
