1. Has NTT opened FLET'S ADSL on your line?
NTT should have informed you of the day on which FLET'S ADSL will be available on your line. NTT will make the service available on the line at some point during that day, not necessarily first thing in the morning. For confirmation of the date and time, please refer to NTT's documentation. If you have connected all your equipment up properly, you should find the ADSL lamp (sometimes labeled "Line") on the ADSL modem will light up - this means that the ADSL signal is present on your line.
If you have requested Type 2 (ADSL only) service from NTT, NTT will visit your home to install the line, and will at that time inform you of the time from which FLET'S ADSL will be available: typically in the same day as NTT's work has been done.
2. Have you connected all equipment as instructed by NTT?
Please take a look at the instructions NTT sent you and make sure that you have connected everything up correctly. Try to avoid using your own splitter, telephone cable or Ethernet cable; instead use whatever NTT send you.
3. Are you using a FLET'S ADSL Course?
You must be using Asahi Net's FLET'S ADSL Course in order to connect to NTT's FLET'S ADSL service. If you are not on the FLET'S ADSL Course, you will not be able to connect your computer to NTT's FLET'S ADSL service.
