Recovery: May 20, 2020 (Wed) 15:08
There was an above-normal increase of DNS queries during the regular maintenance of DNS server. This exceeded the DNS server processing capacity, and became unresponsive.
We took time to identify this cause, requiring longer time for recovery.
Before recovery, we have enhanced the failed server equipment for East Japan area.
As a preventive measure, we will increase the number of servers for East/West Japan area so we can handle even more increased DNS queries in the future.
Please try rebooting your device if the situation has not improved yet.
If that does not still work, there may be problems other than this DNS failure. Please inquire our English Customer Support.
Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and difficulties caused by the failure.
