National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan announcement (Japanese)
Be careful of doing work involving the receipt and forwarding of goods

It is possible for consumers to make money from part-time jobs involving the receipt of goods and then forwarding them to another address. To do this, the consumer supplies via SNS a copy of their identity document and bank account information to the person offering the job. However, there have been cases of the person receiving that information using it to fraudulently enter into a contract on-line for mobile phones, etc. Those goods are then delivered to the consumer, who then unknowingly forwards the delivered goods to another address.

In short, the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan advises against passing personal information to others without careful consideration.
