Stopping of international calls to some countries and areas

Thank you for using Asahi Net.

NTT ME, the provider of the VoIP platform for Asahi Net's IP-Phone-F and IP-TV-Phone-F services, has announced that they will stop handling calls to some countries and areas due to illegal use of communication equipment by third parties. This step has had to be taken to prevent customers from being billed for expensive international call charges due to unauthorized use.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused, however as a result of this announcement it will not be possible for users of Asahi Net's IP-Phone-F and IP-TV-Phone-F services to make calls to those countries and areas from 1st July 2016.

1st July 2016 (Friday)

* This does not apply to calls started before the work to cease the handling of calls has taken place.
