Mac OSX 10.7 Network Configuration


I. Configuration

1. From the Apple menu (top left of screen) choose System Preferences.

Apple -> System Preferences

2. Find and double-click on the Network icon in the Internet & Wireless section.

System Preferences -> Network

3. In the left-hand panel, choose Ethernet.

4. Click the Advanced button.

Using DHCP

5. Click the DNS tab. Leave the DNS Servers column empty.
* If you are using a router, it's IP address may appear here, for example 192.168.100.1. It is okay to leave this as it is.

6. Click the OK button to return to the Location page.

7. Click the Apply button.
