It is possible to acquire and use various types of domain name with Asahi Net, such as "yourcompany.com", "yourcompany.co.jp", etc. We take applications from those who want us to process the registration of a new domain name, and we also take applications from those who have already registered their domain name but want to move it to Asahi Net's service so that they can use our Web Hosting and email service.

Charges

All-purpose.jp Domain Registration and Holding

It is possible to apply for only the registration and holding of an all-purpose.jp domain. However, this will not let you use the all-purpose.jp domain for e-mail addresses and Web hosting. If you would like to use the all-purpose.jp domain for e-mail addresses and Web hosting you must apply for All-purpose.jp Domain Web Hosting. Domains that are acquired with Asahi Net's All-purpose.jp Domain Registration service can only be used with Asahi Net's service.

Start-up Charge (Registration Fee): 5,000 yen (excluding tax)
Monthly Charge (Holding Fee): 500 yen (excluding tax)

Once you start using our All-purpose.jp Domain Web Hosting Service, you will not be charged the storage fee.

All-purpose.jp Domain Web Hosting

Registered all-purpose .jp domain names can be used for e-mail addresses and homepage addresses. This service is targeted for customers who have registered their all-purpose.jp domain with Asahi Net.

Regional .jp Domain Web Hosting

Register your Regional .jp domain to be used for your e-mail addresses and Web site URL.
