Provision of the IPv6 Connection Feature
Thank you for using Asahi Net.
From April 2017, Asahi Net will provide the IPv6 Connection Feature as a standard function*1 for Asahi Net FTTH with FLET’S and other service courses using NTT fiber-optic lines.
By adding IPv6 along with the existing IPv4, we aim to achieve the mid to long term enhancement of user's network quality.
Asahi Net will continue to provide Internet connection services of high quality.
- To start using the IPv6 Connection Feature, some of our members will need to have the “FLET'S v6 Option” (free of charge) provided by NTT East/NTT West. If you are using a fiber-optic line without this option, you need not worry as we will apply for the FLET'S v6 Option on your behalf after receiving your consent.
Supported Service Course
- Asahi Net FTTH with FLET’S (Home Course/Mansion Course)
- FLET'S Hikari Next (Family Course/Mansion Course)
- FLET'S Hikari Light (Family Course)
Non-Supported Courses
Unfortunately, the IPv6 Connection Feature is not offered with the following connection Courses.
- B FLET'S (Family Course/Mansion Course)
- FLET'S Hikari Premium (Family Course/Mansion Course)
Furthermore, the IPv6 Connection Feature is not offered to Asahi Net FTTH with FLET’S users who are using one of the following FLET’S lines.
- B FLET'S line
- FLET'S Hikari Premium line
