Using IPv6 Connection Feature

IPv6 Connection Feature is provided as a standard service for the course you are registered.
In order to use IPv6 Connection Feature, you are required to apply for the NTT East/NTT West FLET’S v6 Option service (free of charge).

With your authorization, we have made a proxy application for the FLET’S v6 Option service. However, we are afraid to inform you that the registration was not successfully completed. Consequently, registration for Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature was not completed.

We kindly ask you to check the following.

Cause and Remedy for Error Code IPV6E-001

Cause

Processing of a change to your NTT Hikari line postal address or NTT Hikari line type is in progress.
Consequently, registration for Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature was not successfully completed.

Remedy

After the process described above has been completed, please proceed with registration of IPv6 Connection Feature.

If you have not requested any of the above changes

Please have your NTT Customer ID ready, and contact NTT to check the status of your Hikari line and FLET’S v6 Option.
Please also check with NTT that your NTT Customer ID is the same as that registered with NTT.

How to check your NTT Customer ID

NTT EAST users

NTT WEST users

The example of「お申し込み内容のご案内」(the contract description) paper document sent from NTT WEST.

Above is the example of「お申し込み内容のご案内」(the contract description) paper document sent from NTT WEST in which you can find NTT customer ID shown as "お客さまID".

If your NTT Customer ID is the same as that registered at NTT, please kindly proceed with the registration of IPv6 Connection Feature.

If your NTT Customer ID is not the same with that registered at NTT, please kindly proceed with the registration of IPv6 Connection Feature using the Customer ID registered at NTT.

Cause and Remedy for Error Code IPV6E-002

Cause

The Hikari line type that you are currently using does not support Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature.
Consequently, registration for Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature was not successfully completed.

Remedy

In order to use Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature, you need to change your Hikari line type to one that supports IPv6 Connection Feature.
Please refer to the web page, About IPv6 Connection Feature, to check the Hikari line type that supports IPv6 Connection Feature.

To change the type of NTT Hikari line, please contact NTT.

Cause and Remedy for Error Code IPV6E-003

Cause

NTT is currently processing your FLET’S v6 Option registration (new application or termination of the option.)
Consequently, registration for Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature was not successfully completed.

Remedy

Please kindly contact NTT to confirm the date on which FLET’S v6 Option registration will be completed.

Please proceed with the registration of IPv6 Connection Feature on the day after FLET’S v6 Option registration has been completed.

Cause and Remedy for Error Code IPV6E-004

Cause

You are currently using IPv6 IPoE with another service provider.
Consequently, registration for Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature was not successfully completed.

Remedy

Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature cannot be used with other providers’ IPv6 IPoE.

Please kindly cancel the IPv6 IPoE that you are currently using, before proceeding with the registration of IPv6 Connection Feature.

Cause and Remedy for Error Code IPV6E-005

Cause

Your NTT Customer ID was not found at NTT.
Consequently, registration for Asahi Net’s IPv6 Connection Feature was not successfully completed.

Remedy

Please log in to registration of IPv6 Connection Feature, to check that you have input the correct NTT Customer ID.

NTT Customer ID is a string of alphabets and digits, either starting with CAF followed by ten digits or starting with COP followed by eight digits.

If you find that you have input an incorrect NTT Customer ID, please input the correct NTT Customer ID to proceed with the registration of IPv6 Connection Feature.

If you find that you have input the correct NTT Customer ID, please contact NTT, to check your Hikari line status. If you there is no problem with your Hikari line status, please kindly proceed with the registration of IPv6 Connection Feature.

Cause and Remedy for Error Code IPV6E-006

Cause

Asahi Net has made a proxy application for NTT FLET’S v6 Option service on your behalf. However, your registration was not found at NTT.

Remedy

Please log in to the web page for registration of IPv6 Connection Feature, to check whether you have input the following information correctly.

  • NTT Customer ID - A string of alphabets and digits starting with CAF followed by ten digits or starting with COP followed by eight digits.
  • NTT User Name in Japanese (Last/First)
  • NTT User's Telephone Number

If you find that you have input an incorrect NTT Customer ID, please input the correct NTT Customer ID to proceed with the registration of IPv6 Connection Feature.

If you find that you have input the correct NTT Customer ID, please kindly contact NTT to reconfirm your NTT Customer ID, User Name and User’s Telephone number.

After confirmation, please kindly proceed with the registration of IPv6 Connection Feature.
