FAQ
-
- What is IPv6?
-
IPv6 stands for Internet Protocol version 6. It is the next generation Internet protocol following the IPv4, which is currently the standard protocol. As it has a vast address space, IP addresses can be assigned to substantial number of devices.
-
- Would IPv6 possibly improve the communication speed?
-
Since the speed generally vary by multiple factors such as situations at communicating counterparts, surrounding conditions and traffic status, we cannot answer it only with the use of IPv6. But since the IPv6 network has a relatively wider capacity than IPv4, there is a possibility that the speed may improve in case of slowdowns due to IPv4 traffic congestion.
Precautions
Possible impact when FLET'S v6 Option and IPv6 Connection Feature become effectivearrow
