Blocking Receipt of Mail with Invalid Sender's Address

Blocking Receipt of Mail with Invalid Sender's Address

The domain portion of the sender's mail address is inspected at the time of receipt and the mail is blocked if the domain does not exist. This feature is intended to prevent anonymous and/or malicious mail from reaching the member's mailbox.

Examples

ab3c-defg@asahi-net.or.jp The domain exists and so receipt (and sending) is possible
ab3c-defg@a-sa-hi-net.or.jp The domain does not exist and so receipt (and sending) is not possible
ab3c-defg@asahinet The domain does not exist and so receipt (and sending) is not possible
ab3c-defg@ No domain is present and so receipt (and sending) is not possible
Important
When sending to an email address with a valid domain and getting an error message, please check the settings of your own email software to make sure the domain name of your own email address is correct.
