Closure of Asahi Net ADSL ACCA services (Reminder)


Thank you for using Asahi Net.

The company providing the lines for the Asahi Net ADSL ACCA services, SoftBank Corp. has decided to close those lines and as a result Asahi Net ADSL ACCA services will close on 28th February, 2017.

We sincerely appreciate those customers who have used the Asahi Net ADSL ACCA service until now and would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the closure of the service.

We would like to ask customers using the Asahi Net ADSL ACCA service to consider switching to another Asahi Net Internet connection service, such as one of our fiber-optic broadband services. We look forward to continuing to be of service to you.

1. Services that will close

The following ADSL ACCA Courses will close.

  • Discount Plus ADSL ACCA Course
  • Lite ADSL ACCA Course
  • ADSL ACCA Course (50M/12M)
  • Discount ADSL ACCA Course
  • ADSL ACCA Course (40M)
  • ADSL ACCA Course (26M)
  • ADSL-8A Course

2. Date on which the services will close

28th February 2017 (Tuesday)

Important: Customers who currently use the above ADSL ACCA services will be able to continue to use the services until the date or closure, however from that day all Internet connection on ADSL ACCA lines will cease.

3. Changing Asahi Net contract before the service closes

It is possible to change your Asahi Net Internet connection contract to another Asahi Net Internet connection service such as one of our fiber-optic broadband services. Please contact Asahi Net's English Support at your earliest convenience to find out about the availability of other services and about how to switch service.

5. Notes

  • Should you change the course on-line, login is required.
    Please have your Asahi Net user ID and password ready.
  • Changing from "ADSL ACCA" to "Neo Discount ADSL" requires a change of modem for the connection.
    The new modem will be dispatched by Softbank, and once the construction with NTT has been completed, please make the connection settings yourself.
    Also, please return the old modem that you are currently using the "cash-on-delivery" slip enclosed in the package of the new modem.
  • The construction for changing the service from "ADSL ACCA" to "Neo Discount ADSL" will be done at the same time, therefore, you will not have any downtime for the Internet connection.
    Please note that you cannot decide the date for the construction.
  • You will not be charged for any fees related to the procedure for changing the course.
