10th December 2010: Preparing for IPv6Thank you for using ASAHI Net's services. The Internet has become an indispensable part of our social infrastructure and its reach continues to spread to all corners of the globe. With that background, there are fears about the depletion of the IPv4 addresses that are needed for Internet connections. We are preparing for IPv6 in order to sustain and develop our services. We are also addressing this issue together with the whole Internet provider business.

We are planning to provide IPv6 Internet connections to those who are using NTT East/NTT West supplied FLET'S Hikari Next lines and KDDI supplied au Hikari Home lines. We will make an announcement later on our Web page about charges and details such as the starting date of the IPv6 service. 2. Impact on the IPv4 Internet connection services we currently offer
Those who are using the IPv4 Internet connection services we currently offer will be able to keep using the Internet without any change even after we start offering IPv6 Internet connections.
