Web Caster V110 Configuration I. Before making the configuration, ensure that...
1. You have entered into a FLET'S contract with NTT and have received their Web Caster V110.
3. You are prepared for connection.
Example setup: B FLET'S media converter and Web Caster V110 II. ConfigurationThe configuration explained below was made using a computer running MacOSX and Safari. Step 1: Open a Web browserOpen a Web browser (Safari, Internet Explorer or Netscape, for example). You are going to use the Web browser as the means to access the configuration pages of the Web Caster V110. Enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address box of the Web broswer, then hit the Enter key on your keyboard (or Return key if you use a Mac).
Step 2: Create the Administration passwordYou must create a password with which you will access the Web Caster V110 configuration pages. The Shouki settei (initial settings) screen will appear. Create and enter a password of your choice in both the boxes. Enter the same password in both boxes as this will become your Administration password for your WebCaster V110. Please make note of the password you created as you will need to use it later in this configuration.
Click the a.) Kakunin (confirm) button, followed by the b.) Soushin (send) button.
A pop-up alert should appear, saying that if you click the OK button , it will display the log-in page for you. Click the OK button.
Step 3: Log-inA log-in window will now appear. Enter the following:

Step 4: SetupThe Kantan settei (simple setup) window will appear. Enter the following settings:
Click the a.) Kakunin (confirm) button, followed by the b.) Soushin (send) button, and finally the c.) Hanei (change) button.
This pop-up alert will appear asking if it is okay to make the change. Click the OK button.
The System change screen will appear. When the modem has finished making the changes this page will be replaced by the Kantan settei (simple setup) screen.
Step 5: Confirm the status of the Web Caster V110Look at the lamps on your Web Caster V110 and confirm their status is as listed below. If they match, the Web Caster should now be connected to ASAHI Net.
Close your Web browser, open it again and make sure that you can view Web pages.

III. Confirming and changing settingsStep 7: Confirming settingsIt is only necessary to confirm your settings if you think the Web Caster V110 has been unable to connection to the Internet. On the left hand side, click a.) Ru-ta Setsuzoku (Router Settings) link, then click the b.) PPPoE Settei (PPPoE Settings) link.
The PPPoE Settei (PPPoE Settings) window will appear. Confirm or enter the following settings.
If you change a setting, find and click the a.) Kakunin (confirm) button, followed by the b.) Soushin (send) button, and finally the c.) Hanei (reflection) button.
When the Web browser alert appears, click the OK button.
The System change screen will appear. When the modem has finished making the changes this page will be replaced by the PPPoE settei (PPPoE settings) screen.
Step 8: Confirming an Internet connectionClick the a.) Joutai hyouji (display status) option.
The Joutai hyouji (display status) window will appear.
Against the PPPoE joutai settei (sesshon 1) (PPPoE session 1) entry you will see Seijou (normal). This indicates that an Internet connection has been established.
This shows that you are now connected. Please also refer to Step 5 to confirm the status of the lamps on the Web Caster V110.
