FlashWave 2040 M1 Configuration.
I. Before making the configuration, ensure that...
1. Have you received notification of the opening date of this service?
3. Prepare for connection. II. Configuration.Open the setup page
1. Open a Web browser (Internet Explorer, for example). You must not connect to the Internet: you are going to use the Web browser as the means to open up the configuration page of the FlashWave 2040 M1 ADSL modem.
3. The following button will appear. Click it. Enter the Administration password4. At this point, the Enter Network Password window will appear. Enter admin in lower case characters in both the User Name and Password boxes. Click the OK button.
Router/Bridge mode set-up screen5. The Router/Bridge mode set-up screen will appear. Enter the following settings into the boxes in the set-up screen.
6. Click the h.) Setsuzoku (connect) button; it is the middle of the three grey buttons.
7. If the a.) Setsuzoku joutai (connection status) is b.) setsuzokuchuu (connecting) then your ADSL modem is attempting to connect to the Internet. Click the OK button.
8. The following window will appear to request the re-start of your ADSL modem. Make sure the top of the two radio buttons Tadachi ni... (immediately save these settings and restart the ADSL modem) is selected. Click the OK button.
9. After about 10 seconds, a message will appear asking you to wait a little longer. 10. After about 40 seconds, the following button will appear, asking you to click it. Click the button. Please do not turn off your ADSL modem. 11. Once your ADSL modem has restarted, you should be able to see a.) Setsuzoku joutai (connection status) is still b.) setsuzokuchuu (connecting) in the settings window, showing that the modem is connected to ASAHI Net.
12. Below is the correct status of the lamps on the ADSL modem after connection has been established.
13. Your computer should now be connected to the Internet. Open a Web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and make sure that you can view Web pages and use other Internet services such as email. |
