IP-Phone ConfigurationYou must make this configuration within 30 days of making your application for the IP-Phone-F service. During this time period it will be possible to automatically download the settings via a special URL (Web page). (*1) (*1) If you try to make this configuration after 30 days (for example you have had to reset your VoIP equipment or have been sent replacement equipment) the automatic download will not work: contact ASAHI Net for how to get sent a new URL for download of the settings. Network ConfigurationBefore configuring the VoIP equipment supplied by NTT, make these network settings in your computer.
The VoIP EquipmentThe types of VoIP equipment that can be used with this IP-Phone-F service are: ADSL modem with internal router, VoIP router, VoIP adapter working in router mode or adapter mode. ADSL modem with internal router

Connect the router-type ADSL modem or broadband router to the VoIP adapter. This configuration is suitable for those who have their own broadband router. VoIP adapter : router modeADSL Modem (bridge type) / media converter + VoIP Equipment (router mode)
(*1) With a Type 2 line, no splitter is provided. Connect the bridge-type ADSL modem or media converter to the VoIP adapter, and use the VoIP adapter in router-mode. This configuration is suitable for those who are using PPPoE software (NTT's FLET'S Connection Tool, RASPPPoE, etc) to connect to the Internet.
