ASAHI Net provides dedicated access points for cell phone and PHS users

Cell phone users
Connection with cell phones to ASAHI Net is possible in the following ways.
- Using PacketWIN.
Users of a CDMA 1X WIN-enabled device will be able to download data at maximum speeds of up to 2.4Mbps
with this KDDI (au Group) service.

- Using PacketOne.
Users of a KDDI (formerly DDI & IDO) CdmaOne-compatible cell phones will be able to make connections between 14.4Kbps and 144Kbps, depending on the type of CdmaOne contract they are in with KDDI.

- Using FOMA.
Users of an NTT DoCoMo FOMA-compatible cell phone will be able to make connections of up to 384Kbps.

- Using our DoPa access point.
Users of an NTT DoCoMo DoPa-compatible cell phone will be able to make 28.8Kbps connections.

- Using ASAHI Net's All-Japan Access Point.
A 9,600bps-capable cell phone provided by NTTDoCoMo, KDDI(au), Tu-ka or J-Phone
can be used to connect to this access point - although connection speeds of only 9600bps will be possible.

Users of PHS devices can connect to ASAHI Net in one of the following ways.
