*1. There will be no charge for a 8 month period for those using the service in Shizuoka, Aichi, Gifu, Shiga, Nara, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Okayama, Hiroshima or Fukuoka prefectures. Those using the service in other prefectures will not be charged for a 6 month period.
*2. NTT West's monthly charge will be 4,158 yen for the 1st year and 4,420.5 yen for the 2nd year for those using the service in Shizuoka, Aichi, Gifu, Shiga, Nara, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Okayama, Hiroshima or Fukuoka prefectures (charge combines NTT West's line usage charge, ONU/CTU usage charge and wiring usage charge). Those using the service in other prefectures will not be charged NTT West's line usage charge for one month.
*3. NTT West's ONU/CTU usage charge will be 472.5 yen for 2 years for those using the service in Shizuoka, Aichi, Gifu, Shiga, Nara, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Okayama, Hiroshima or Fukuoka prefectures.
*4. NTT West's FLET'S Hikari Light service is currently only offered in Shizuoka, Aichi, Osaka, Hyogo and Fukuoka prefectures. The service is scheduled to be eventually released in other prefectures.

* ASAHI Net will bill you for our Internet connection service, NTT West will bill you for their fiber-optic line and equipment.
* NTT West has a minimum 24 month usage period for their fiber-optic services. NTT West will discount their standard installation charge for those who apply for a new fiber-optic line and use that fiber-optic line for a minimum 24 month period, however if the user cancels NTT West's services within the 24 month period, NTT West will charge their full installation charge.
* ASAHI Net's minimum usage period for FTTH with FLET'S Courses is 12 months. Should the Course be cancelled within 12 months a penalty charge of 2,100 yen will be billed by ASAHI Net.

About FLET'S Hikari Light

FLET'S Hikari Light is a NTT West fiber-optic broadband service offering always-on connection. It offers a two-tiered charging system and is suitable for light Internet users, for example those who use the Internet once or twice a week. There is an upper charge set for this NTT West service and so even in months of heavy Internet use there is a limit to how much NTT West will charge for the service. There are some optional services that cannot be used by users of a FLET'S Hikari Light line, for example the Hikari TV for ASAHI Net service.

*1. The Basic Charge will be billed if a total of less than 200MB of data communication (traffic) is used on the FLET'S Hikari Light line in a month.
*2. The Traffic Charge will be billed if the total data communication (traffic) exceeds 200MB in a month.
*3. The Traffic Charge will be billed directly by NTT West. It will be possible to confirm this through NTT West's Web page.
*4. Data communication (traffic) will be rounded up to the next 10MB unit.

*1. If the line type is FLET'S Hikari Next Family, NTT West will not charge for the installation. For other line types, if NTT West does not visit your home to do the installation work the installation charge will be 2,625 yen (a discounted charge), if NTT West does visit your home the installation charge will be 3,675 yen.

* The use of optional services will be charged from the month of joining ASAHI Net. These optional services include excess homepage space usage, surcharges for overseas access, connections to our Prime Access Point, etc.
* Unlimited dial-up connection to ASAHI Net's All- Japan access point is possible from the time you receive your ASAHI Net ID until the time your FTTH with FLET'S service is opened. However your telephone company will bill you for dial-up connection telephone call charges.
* In the month of cancellation, regardless of whether it may even be the month of joining ASAHI Net or the opening month of the FTTH with FLET'S service, ASAHI Net's monthly charge and charges for any optional services will be billed by ASAHI Net.
