Computer

• Limited to makers that offer support for their products in Japan.
• Self-built computers are not supported.
• The operating system (OS) must be Japanese and one of the following:
  * Windows Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate, Business)
  * Windows XP (Home Edition, Professional, Media Center Edition 2005)
  * Windows 2000 Professional
  Note: Windows Millennium Edition and Windows 98 Second Edition is no longer supported by Microsoft and is therefore also outside the scope of this service.

Routers, Printers, Other Peripheral Devices

• Limited to makers that offer support for their products in Japan.
• Plotters, dot impact printers and office printers are not supported.

Applications

• Limited to makers that offer support for their products in Japan.
• If downloaded software, only software for which there is a Japanese support site will be supported.
• Detailed configuration of business software is not supported.
• Only software the user has at hand is supported; software that has not yet been installed or downloaded will not be supported.

Other

• Those wanting assistance with Internet connection settings will need to make available their Internet provider's account name and password.
• This door-to-door service will be carried out on a different day to the B FLET'S construction date. If cancellation or changing of the door-to-door service day is required, contact NTT the day before the due date of that service. Should contact be later than that or you are not at home when the NTT representative visits it, a cancellation fee of 4,725 yen (incl. tax) will be charged.
• For door-to-door service outside mainland Honshu and Hokkaido, commutation costs will also be charged.

Wanting to use wireless LAN

Wireless LAN settings will be carried out.
* You are required to provide the wireless LAN router and LAN card(s).
* Internet connection configuration is not included.

Wanting to connect one more computer to the Internet

Internet connections for the additional computer will be carried out.
* The charge is for a wired connection (not wireless LAN).

Wanting to install anti-virus software

Installation of anti-virus software will be carried out.
* You are required to provide the anti-virus software.
* Please confirm what anti-virus software is applicable.

Wanting guidance

Guidance will provided on the use of the Internet, email, computer and printer as required.

* The basic charge (4,725 yen) will be charged for each visit.
