Great East Japan Earthquake donation scheme
We would like to convey our deepest sympathy for those who lost
their lives and those who are suffering as a result of the
earthquake and tsunami that struck the east Japan area.
With hope for the earliest possible rehabilitation of those in the
disaster area, we have launched this donation Web page that ASAHI Net
members may use to make donations.
There is a long road ahead to the recovery of the disaster area
following the immense damage inflicted on it by the earthquake and
tsunami and so we think that long-term reconstruction assistance is
required. By making a donation (from 100 yen) every month together
with their ASAHI Net Internet service charge, our members will be
able to provide sustained support for the recovery of the disaster
area and those living in it.
We look forward to the participation of as many ASAHI Net members
as possible. ASAHI Net has donated a total of 10,000,000 yen and our founder, board members and employees have donated a total of 100,600,000 yen.

How to donate
Donations are possible in 100 yen (nontaxable) units per month. You may choose how many 100 yen units you want to donate each month. It is possible to change the number of units or cancel your participation in the donation scheme by using the Make / change / cancel your donation link below.
ASAHI Net's monthly charge for a given month will be a combination of the amount you donate that month and your ASAHI Net usage charge for that month. The donation amount you initially apply for will be donated every month, unless you use the Make / change / cancel your donation link below to change the amount you donate or cancel your participation in the donation scheme.
ASAHI Net members may take part in this donation scheme by using their ASAHI Net User ID and password to log into the application page.
Please read this before you apply
- The total amount of the donations from all our members will be given to the Japanese Red Cross Society for those who are suffering as a result of the great earthquake and tsunami that struck the east Japan area on March 11th 2011.
- The donation amount you initially apply for will be donated every month, unless you make a request to change the donation amount or cancel your participation in the donation scheme.
