Neo-Discount ADSL Course : Current ASAHI Net member : Type 1 line

Area checkCustomer
First, check that Neo-Discount ADSL service can be offered in your area.

If applying for a Type 1 service, please check the Conditions For Construction.
Make sure the service can be offered to you.

Please use the option below to change to a Neo-Discount ADSL Course.

Request line checkeAccess
eAccess ask NTT to check your line.

StudyNTT
NTT study whether or not it is possible to have an ADSL service on your line.

Result of NTT's studyeAccess
eAccess notifies the member of the result of NTT's study.
The result is sent by postal mail to all applicants. Those who requested the result by email will also receive an email to the address they supplied when they applied for the Neo-Discount ADSL service.
* It is possible for service to be unavailable due to line conditions or the configuration of NTT's telephone network in your area.
If the result is POSITIVE, go to section (A) below.
If the result is NEGATIVE, go to section (B) below.
If the result is SERVICE NOT POSSIBLE DUE TO MEMBERS ENVIRONMENT, go to section (C) below.

(A) Service is possible

Line compatibility resulteAccess
If service is possible, eAccess will notify the member of the date NTT will do construction work to open the service.

Changing the line to analogeAccess
If your line is an ISDN line, eAccess will send you information about changing it to be analog so that ADSL service can be placed on it.

Analog notificationCustomer
If your line is an ISDN line, after you get the information you must contact eAccess to notify them you want to make the change to analog.

Request NTT to make the changeeAccess
If your line is an ISDN line, after eAccess get your request to change it to analog, they will notify NTT.

Delivery of ADSL modemeAccess
eAccess will send the member an ADSL modem in advance of NTT's construction date.

ConstructionNTT
NTT will carry out construction to make opening of the service possible.

Connect to the service.Customer
After NTT has done their construction work, please configure your computer and ADSL modem for connection to the Internet. Please refer to our Configuration Guide Web page.

Use the service!

* As a result of work scheduled at the NTT center of operations and at eAccess' ADSL equipment, it is possible for opening of service to take some time.

(B) Service is not possible because another ADSL service is present on the line

Removal of ADSL serviceeAccess
If the member currently has another company's ADSL service (FLET'S ADSL, etc) on the line, it is not possible for NTT to perform a line compatibility checj for another ADSL service. The member must remove (cancel) the other ADSL service before NTT can proceed with the Neo-Discount ADSL line compatibility check.
In this case, eAccess will send the member notification by email.

Request for removalCustomer
Contact the other ADSL company for how to cancel that service.

The member is notified of the date of removal of the other ADSL service.

Notify eAccessCustomer
Please notify eAccess of that date the other ADSL service will be removed.

eAccess ask NTT to check your line - again.

NTT study whether or not it is possible to have an ADSL service on your line.

(C) Service not possible due to member's environment

ASAHI Net sends the member the result of NTT's check by email.
