In brief

ASAHI Net plans to expand our homepage service. As part of the plan, we offer this User CGI service. The service allows users to run their own CGI scripts. This service is currently in test mode; we are using it to gauge the needs of our members.

Currently applications for the User CGI service are only accepted from those using our Virtual Domain Web Hosting service and MMJP Web Hosting service. Please verify server types, etc. before you apply for the User CGI service.

Charges

Notes
It is not possible to use more than 10MB of Web space.
This service is only for users of the Virtual Domain Web Hosting service and MMJP Web Hosting service.
In addition, charges for other ASAHI Net services will be applied.

The specification of CGI scripts published on the above page is the specification for the current test User CGI service. When the CGI service starts officially, the specification could differ from the current one.

The trial period

ASAHI Net offers a trial period of one month after the user's User CGI service is established. If you would like to stop using the User CGI service, please request cancellation of the User CGI service by the 25th of the month following the month the service is established, so that we can cancel the service without charge.

Important notes

• ASAHI Net will not provide any type of support for how to create your own CGI scripts, troubleshooting scripts, etc.
• There are times when the server used for this test User CGI service is stopped temporarily without notice.
• The full service could differ from the current test service when it starts officially.
