Availability

You must be living in an area to which the FLET'S Hikari Next service is being offered to be able to apply for the FLET'S Hikari Next service.

It is possible that even though you live in an area to which the service is being offered it cannot be given to you due to lack of availability of NTT's equipment and other reasons. Your understanding is appreciated.

Charges

Joining month

This is the month in which the ASAHI Net User ID is issued to the member.

Opening month

* This is not the month in which NTT completes the construction required for the FLET'S Hikari Next service, it is the month in which the user agrees to be billed by ASAHI Net.
* There will be no ASAHI Net monthly charge from the month of joining ASAHI Net to the month the FLET'S Hikari Next service is opened.
* However, the use of optional services will be charged from the month of joining ASAHI Net. These optional services include excess homepage space usage, surcharges for using overseas access points, connections to our Prime Access Point, etc.
* Regardless of the Plan in use on the FLET'S Hikari Next Course, unlimited dial-up connection time to the All Japan Access Point is allowed at no ASAHI Net charge from the month of joining ASAHI Net to the month the FLET'S Hikari Next service opens.
* In the month of cancellation, the Monthly Charge and charges for optional service(s) and excess usage (if applicable) will be charged, regardless of when the cancellation request is made.

Optional NTT services

You will be billed directly by NTT East or NTT West for using any optional NTT services.

Changing from B FLET'S to FLET'S Hikari Next

There are now three types of lines available with ASAHI Net's FTTH with FLET'S (Home) service; New Family, Hyper Family and FLET'S Hikari Next.

If you want to change from one type of line to another a charge will be billed for the construction work required to make the change. The monthly charges and optional services for these line types is the same. Additionally, there may be additional charges billed related to construction work needed to make the change of line type.

You will not be able to use either service while construction is taking place to change your line type from B FLET'S to FLET'S Hikari Next. Furthermore, it is possible that you will not be able to continue using some services associated with B FLET'S, that an exchange of equipment may be required, and that reconfiguration of equipment for Internet connection may be required.
