FLET'S Hikari Premium is a fiber-optic broadband service offering always-on connection. Maximum connection speed is 100Mbps (best effort). A fiber-optic line is supplied to your location. The service is offered by NTT West and a contract with NTT West is essential.

Notes
All Plans offer an always-on FLET'S Hikari Premium connection.
Dial-up is when you would use our dial-up access points instead of the FLET'S Hikari Premium service, for example when travelling on a business trip or on holiday.
From the month of joining ASAHI Net (the month your ASAHI Net User ID is issued) to the month the FLET'S Hikari Premium service is opened and you make your first connection to it, ASAHI Net's Monthly Charge will not be applied. However, the use of optional services will be charged from the month of joining ASAHI Net. These optional services include excess homepage space usage, surcharges for overseas access, connections to our Prime Access Point, etc.
Regardless of the Plan in use on a FLET'S Hikari Premium Course, unlimited dial-up connection time is allowed at no charge from the month of joining ASAHI Net to the month the FLET'S Hikari Premium service opens.
In the month of cancellation, the Monthly Charge and charges for optional service(s) and excess usage (if applicable) will be charged, regardless of when the cancellation request is made.

If within six months of joining ASAHI Net, a connection to the FLET'S Hikari Premium service has not been made, ASAHI Net will either switch you to a Dial-up Course or cancel your membership. More about this can be found on the following page:

Homepage space usage exceeding that allocated by the Course / Plan will incur a charge of 189 yen per month per 5MB excess. Please see About excess homepage usage for more information about how to calculate your homepage space usage.
