We appreciate your use of our Internet services. The Hikari T-Series Home service that you are using is scheduled to close on 30th September 2011. This page will inform you of how you may request a change from the Hikari T-Series Home service to the au Hikari Home Giga Value Type service (formerly Hikari one Home Giga Value Type). The au Hikari Home Giga Value Type service is an Internet service being offered at a very attractive monthly charge which also has optional phone and TV services.

Important notes

* The Giga Value Type service has a two year contract, automatically renewed after two years. There is a 9,975 yen contract release charge for canceling the Giga Value Type service before the renewal date.
* This is a "best-effort" service; factors including line conditions, your environment and computer will cause the speed to be lower than the 1Gbps offered. Actual speeds are not guaranteed. 1Gbps speeds are possible technically but not when the service is actually used.
* It is possible to apply to use the Home Gateway's Wireless LAN function for a monthly charge of 420 yen. A maximum speed of 54Mbps is possible with the Home Gateway wireless LAN. It is possible to rent wireless LAN cards for computers for 420 yen/month.
* Construction work for the Giga Value Type service will take place outside your home. It is necessary for you to be present when the construction work takes place.
